1. Soluble in alcohol, propylene glycol, cottonseed oil and mineral oil, with good emulsifying, wetting and dispersing ability. OV-10 and ov-24 are easily soluble in water.
2. Used as softener, lubricant, solubilizer and emulsifier in cosmetics production, and used in the production of astringent cream and astringent lotion; It can be used as a solubilizer of bromic acid, in the production of lipstick and liquid balm, and in the preparation of foam bath, shampoo, perm, depilant and hair straightener.
3. It can also be used as an oil soluble spreading agent to prepare transparent gel with mineral oil, isopropyl alcohol, refined oil alcohol and water. In the pharmaceutical industry, it is mainly used as emulsifier, lubricant and solubilizer, and in the manufacture of emulsion and cream.
